Is there “believer” marriage or companionship [amongst themselves] in Heaven

Jesus said “there is no giving and receiving in marriage in Heaven“.

He did NOT say :
1. He did NOT say that no one gets married in Heaven.
2. He did NOT say people [either in spirit body or in glorified body] do not get married to each other in Heaven or continue to be married if both are in heaven.
3. He did NOT say that people of their own free will choices cannot be companions to each other or get thus married.

In “God’s eyes,” marriage is fundamentally a lifelong, exclusive covenant between one man and one woman, intended to reflect God’s love and faithfulness. It is considered a sacred, spiritual union that goes beyond a legal contract, built on commitment, faithfulness, and becoming “one flesh”. While specific religious views may vary, core tenets include this sacred and exclusive covenant, commitment, and the joining of two individuals into a singular union. It is a free choice decision.

Definition of Given and Received: [The bride was given to groom and the groom received her.]

1. Marriages in Bible times were not made for love, per se, marriages were arranged by the fathers of the bride and groom for the mutual benefit of their families. The bride and groom often did not even meet before hand and had no say in the arrangement. Even today, some women who object and go against their Father’s choice of her groom, can be killed for her disobedience of the eldest male members choice. She has no say in the matter.
2. Legal contract: A betrothal was a legally binding agreement that was often established by a contract or a spoken agreement, which was legally enforced.
3. Bride price: The groom’s family negotiated and paid a bride price to the bride’s father.
4. Long engagement: The betrothal period was typically a year, after which the wedding took place.
