The astral body is the same as spirit body in which we exist in the Intermediate Heaven [before joining with the glorified body at the Rapture.

The astral body is a concept of a non-physical, subtle body of energy that is said to exist alongside or separate from the physical body, often described as a vehicle for consciousness, dreams, and experiences beyond the physical world. It is believed to be the body that leaves the physical form during out-of-body experiences, and it is thought to be the body that survives physical death.

It is seen as an intermediary between the intelligent soul and the physical body, carrying thoughts, feelings, and consciousness.

 The astral body is an aspect of our being which is made of energy, and is the body that we inhabit after the death of our physical body and lives in an astral universe also made of energy until it unites with the glorified body. This is not quite the same as a soul, which is beyond both matter and energy.
