The “Book of Signs” by Dr. David Jeremiah is a book I recently put in my Biblical Library and am currently reading.
Chapters 4 and 10 have helped me understand areas I did not understand before, and I have been a Christian since I was 7 or 8 years old. At this point I was on chapter 10.
Page 337 info in “Book of Signs”.
- Currently, Gog & Magog are beginning to form the Northern Military Collation.
- The Anti-Christ will be known and in power in the Tribulation, making a treaty with Israel for 7 years [involves Palestinians, Arabs, and Israel. [Beginning of Tribulation]
- Anti-Christ breaks treaty and attacks Israel, sets up Beast in Temple, etc. [3 ½ yrs into Tribulation]
- Many Jews flee Israel to the mountains and/or Petra.
- Anti-Christ chases with his forces the Jews who flee.
- God sends an earthquake & a flood between the Anti-Christ and the fleeing Jews to save the fleeing Jews.
- Anti-Christ hears of Gog & Magog attacking Jerusalem and Israel [that Anti-Christ considers he has already conquered].
- Anti-Christ and his forces turn from the fleeing Jews he is chasing, and he goes to deal with Gog & Magog. [Anti-Christ does not join Northern Military Collation. Anti-Christ considers himself dictator over the whole World, including Gog & Magog, although he will lead the armies of Armageddon.]
The above is before Armageddon but leads up to it.

The saints that come with Jesus at the Second Coming will NOT be doing battle. They will be serving God [through Jesus] in other ways. Angels that come with Jesus and Jesus Himself will participate in the battle.

Yes, the Bible does describe people hiding in caves in the context of judgment and the end times to escape God’s wrath.
The Book of Revelation includes a passage where people hide in caves and among mountains, calling for the rocks to fall on them to hide them from God and the wrath of the Lamb, because the day of wrath has come and no one can withstand it. This illustrates people of all social standing desperately seeking refuge from God’s judgment and the wrath of Jesus Christ (the Lamb).
The Old Testament also contains similar imagery. Isaiah describes people fleeing to caves and holes in the ground from the fearful presence and majesty of the Lord when he rises to shake the earth.
These passages highlight the idea that earthly hiding places cannot ultimately protect people from God’s wrath during judgment. Hiding in caves symbolizes a vain effort to avoid the inevitable results of rejecting God and pursuing sin.

Isaiah 2:10, 19, 21:

Go to Judgement Seat of Christ:
Old testiment saved and all others dead in Christ are raised at Rapture.
All alive on Earth who are saved are raised at Rapture.
At end of Tribulation all saved during Tribulation are raised.
After 1000 yr Millennium, all those saved during 1000 yr period are raised.
Go to White Throne Judgement:
All unsaved and all fake Christians go to White Throne Judgement.
Note: All fallen Angels, demons, and Satan will be tormented forever, but all humans are mortal and will die [both soul and spirit body] and thus not tormented forever. However, the dead will forever be dead, dissolved, and gone.
Page 389 “Book of Signs” clarification on Hell:
- One is supervised by good angels, so one cannot do whatever one wants to do
- It is small, and one is in solitary confinement, without company, community, fellowships, family, or friendships.
- One does not have a sense of purpose or accomplishment.
- One has little to do except remember one’s life and the now absence of amenities one once had. [regrets are remembered]
- One has a life of minimal existence [no amenities]
- One is probably bored with nothing interesting to do [agonizingly dull] [utter inactivity]
- Realizing diminishing personhood and knowledge of insignificance
- There is the absence of God and all that is good. One knows one is going to Judgement, punishment, and the Lake of Fire [either alive or dead]
- One knows one has led many to the same situation and one is punished for leading them to such, so one gets maximum punishments [maybe thrown into Lake of Fire alive or for a longer time before dissolving body] or more stripes [stripes: see below].
- Knowing that whatever one did on Earth during one’s life is gone, not remembered, and has no lasting significance. There will be no lasting legacy or importance to anything done, built, or created.
- It will probably be warm [you will not be in fire] as Hell is in the inner Earth somewhere, either in this dimension or another dimension. You will be in spirit bodies of some kind as your Earthly body will be buried, cremated, or whatever. In your spirit body, you can withstand and endure such warmth, but you will most likely not like it. Fire is involved when Hell is thrown into the Lake of Fire.
- You will NOT be tortured by anyone or anything, as Hell is probably one of the safest places that exists, while you are there. You will not be in torment except possibly by your own doing or your own memories, regrets, and response to no amenities.
- Hell will [at the end of the White Throne Judgement timeline] relocate to the Lake of Fire and cease to be forever more.
- etc.

“But I tell you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you … But I tell you that it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you” (Matt. 11:22, 24).
The concept of “stripes” is based on a passage in Luke 12:47-48, where Jesus discusses a servant who knew his master’s will but disobeyed. The servant will be “beaten with many stripes” while another servant, who did not know his master’s will but still committed acts worthy of punishment, will be “beaten with few stripes”. This passage is often interpreted to mean that punishment in hell will not be uniform, and some will experience more severe consequences than others.
Punishment [stripes, etc] will not be torture. They are earned from behavior and choices the person made on Earth. They are not continuous, but one event in Hell. God’s [good] Angels will preform them. God’s [good] Angels have no anger or feelings about it. They just administer it.
—————–
Some Fallen Angels [those who cohabited with human women] are in chains in a part of Hell until Judgement Day for disobeying God. Jude 6
Nephilim [children of fallen angels and human women] might also be in Hell in a separate location. Jesus Christ can send them to Hell but some he did not send there but had them go into pigs who then drown. The Bible does not say what happened to them when the pigs drown.

Isaiah 53:10 speaks of the servant seeing his “seed” and prolonging his days. Christians interpret “seed” here as referring to the believers who come to faith through the servant’s sacrifice, his spiritual offspring.
The phrase “so shall your seed and your name remain” from Isaiah 66:22 signifies God’s promise of enduring legacy and continued existence for the people of Israel. It means that just as the new heavens and new earth will last, so too will the descendants and the name of Israel continue to exist. This promise highlights God’s faithfulness and the unbreakable nature of His covenant with His chosen people

Do God and Jesus wipe out all history for eternity?
Christian theology generally emphasizes that God, through Jesus Christ, redeems and transforms history, rather than erasing it for eternity.
Here’s why, based on common Christian understanding:
- Redemption, not erasure: The purpose of Christ’s sacrifice is to redeem humanity and creation from sin’s effects, including the consequences in history, not to obliterate the past altogether.
- The significance of historical events: Christianity is a historically grounded faith, with core beliefs tied to historical events like the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- A new perspective on the past: While some interpretations suggest forgetting past troubles in the new heaven and earth, this doesn’t mean forgetting all memories or history. Instead, it implies viewing history and past experiences from a redeemed perspective, where sorrow and pain are absent, according to GotQuestions.org.
- Memories of God’s grace and justice: It is believed that memories of the past, including both good and bad, will be part of the eternal experience, serving to highlight God’s grace and justice, according to Eternal Perspective Ministries.
In essence, the Christian view suggests that while the negativity and pain of the past will be removed or transformed, the lessons, experiences, and events of history, particularly those showcasing God’s actions and redemptive work, will remain in eternal remembrance, according to Verse By Verse Ministry
Isaiah 65:17 says, “See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.” Some interpret Isaiah 65:17 as saying that we will have no memory of our earthly lives in heaven. However, one verse earlier, in Isaiah 65:16, the Bible says, “For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.” It is likely only our “past troubles” will be forgotten, not all of our memories. Our memories will eventually be cleansed, redeemed, healed, and restored, not erased. There is no reason why we could not possess many memories from our earthly lives. The memories that will be cleansed are the ones that involve sin, pain, and sadness. Revelation 21:4 declares, “‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” GotQuestions.org
