Book: God in You [Releasing the Power of the Holy Spirit in Your Life]

God in You by David Jeremiah

This book is well worth reading after reading Swaggart’s How the Holy Spirit works.  Together both books cover the topic completely.

I just began reading this book. 6/23/2026

John 5:19 and 30, John 8:28, and John 12:49
“The things I said and the works I accomplished did not initiate with Me. It was the Father, accomplishing his purposes in and through Me.” Jesus disclaimed any credit for the word he spoke or the works He preformed. They all flowed from His Father in Heaven.

“The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” “I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgement is righteous, because I do NOT seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”

Page 35 clarification:

Animals have a spirit and a personality.  Animals sing the praises of God by their existence. Animals exist in Heaven.  There are many books written on this subject.  Read some of them and research the Scripture they give supporting such.

Those of us who had/have animals whom we love plan on seeing them and having contact with them in Heaven and Eternity.  Jesus understood human love for their pets, thus God Almighty does too.

God can handle everything — even animals.

Page 54 – 55 clarification:

Spirit = Holy Spirit
Word = Jesus Christ [He always has been even before being born of Mary]
Word is the Scripture which originates from God Almighty through Jesus Christ.
Water = Jesus Christ is the Living Water [Salvation through his sacrifice]

The Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ [the Word] always existed along with God Almighty. The Bible came to humans long afterwords.

Page 67 clarification:

Once you are truly saved through Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit’s Help and God Almighty’s acceptance of you into the Kingdom of God, there are two ways to lose your salvation: — You rejecting God and losing your faith in Him with no repentance of such before you die. — You backsliding [forgetting about God and doing your own will] to an extreme and not repenting before you die.  They Holy Spirit will leave you at actual  death as then it is too late to repent.  The Holy Spirit will NOT accompany you to Hell or the Lake of Fire.  Until your actual death, the Holy Spirit remain with you to influence you to repent.

However, if you are a true believer and keep your faith until death at all costs to you, the Holy Spirit will remain with you through your life, death, intermediate Heaven, the Millennium, and Eternity.  The Holy Spirit will never leave you and will reside within you throughout.

Ps. 4:8 “You alone Lord make me dwell in safety.”

“Peace is to join together……. Peace is knowing that the God you were once separated from, you are now joined to through Jesus Christ.”

“Peace is certain in spite of circumstances.  In the World, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer.  I have overcome the World. John 16:31”

“Our Lord is bigger than any circumstance in which we could ever find our self.”
