Page 40 clarification:

Flame/flames definition: symbolic representation of separation from God and the consequences of sin, anguish, and despair.

Page 41 clarification:

Hell is temporary, but the Lake of Fire is Forever.

Unbelievers die in the Lake of Fire and dissolve forever.  For human unbelievers, their soul and spirit die as well as their body. Unsaved humans in Lake of Fire are mortal and thus will die body, soul, and spirit.

Page 44 clarification:

Angels and Demons [evil spirits] remain in the Lake of Fire forever [eternity] as they are immortal.  It is permanent.  They will suffer forever.

Human unbelievers [mortal] die in the lake of fire.  Soul, Spirit, and body are destroyed to never exist again anywhere.

Page 45 clarification:

Paradise was originally within Earth, with an immense gulf between Hell and Paradise.  Paradise was moved to the current Heaven when Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven.

Page 107 clarification:

Trust God Almighty {God the Father} through Jesus Christ via Holy Spirit.  Trust that Jesus Christ paid your sin penalty and God Almighty accepted the payment of your sin penalty.

Page 119 clarification:

In last paragraph:  Rev 20:  ……. to be consigned to the Lake of Fire [not Hell].

Page 124 clarification:

Temperate definition is moderation and self-restraint.

Page 143 clarification:

In a personal sense, being a spiritual pillar means being a steadfast, dependable person who helps hold things together and stands as a testament to faith that helps hold up a spiritual community or system.

Page 171 clarification:

In Intermediate Heaven, those in Heaven pray for God’s Will to be done on Earth, pray for people to be saved, pray for saints to endure to the end, praise, and worship of God, etc.

In Eternity Heaven, saints pray for God’s Will to be done and we pray for each other as well as praise and worship of God.

In Intermediate Heaven and in Eternity Heaven, preaching would help to remind us of how and why we are in Heaven.  It will retell what Jesus Christ went through to pay the sin penalty, it will retell us of God’s greatness, it will remind us of the gift of God of salvation how fantastic Heaven is compared to Old Earth.  We will be refreshed in our appreciation of Heaven, God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Suffuse means to gradually spread through or over

Nimbus means radiant halo or aura.

The Sevenfold Spirit of God means the Holy Spirit, not seven separate spirits, symbolized by the number seven representing completeness and perfection.  The seven attributes are: the Spirit of the Lord, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge, and the Fear of the Lord.

Page 185 clarification:

Biblically, worship is a whole-life response of the heart and actions to God’s supreme worth, encompassing profound reverence, adoration, submission, and service, which flows from a deep, treasuring love for God above all things. It is not limited to religious rituals like singing or prayer but includes every aspect of life, such as obedience, sacrifice, and honest labor, all performed to honor God as Creator and Savior.

Five common acts of worship found in the Bible are singing hymns and spiritual songs, prayer for communion with God, preaching and teaching the word of God, observing the Lord’s Supper (Communion), and giving financially to support the work of God. These practices are often observed together in a community of believers, as seen in various passages in the New Testament.

Praise is the external, verbal or physical expression of gratitude and admiration for what God has done, focusing on His greatness and actions.  Worship, on the other hand, is a deeper, more intimate attitude of the heart, involving submission, humility, and an inward relationship where one offers themselves to God. While praise focuses on God’s deeds, worship focuses on God’s identity and glory, often involving a profound, personal communion with Him

Page 211 clarification:

God has the capability of destroying body, soul, and spirit.  He does this to the unsaved thrown into the Lake of Fire.  Their whole being [body, soul, and spirit] is thrown into the fire to die, dissolved, and dissipated into nothingness with atoms and molecules spreading into the fire mixture.

At salvation, a person is changed from a state of spiritual death to spiritual life, becoming a “new creation” in Christ, no longer a slave to sin but a child of God with a new nature and purpose. This transformation is a gift from God that removes the penalty of sin, brings a right relationship with Him, and offers eternal life.

Page 290 clarification:

In a biblical context, virtue is moral excellence, integrity, and a disposition to do good, reflecting God’s character. It involves cultivating qualities like faith, hope, and charity, rooted in a relationship with God and demonstrated through obedience to His commands.

Note: Lake of Fire clarification:

In biblical terms, the “lake of fire” is a symbolic, fiery place of eternal punishment and the ultimate destination for the unrepentant, Satan, and his followers. It is described in the Book of Revelation as a symbol of the “second death,” representing final destruction [a state of lasting ruin, no influence or power, loss, or perpetual torment, rather than simple nonexistence] and separation from God.

“Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41). The lake of fire is not here on the earth.

The Devil does not die in the lake of fire; instead, he and his demons are thrown into the lake of fire for eternal torment and restraint, a state described as the “second death” where they are never to be heard from again, ensuring complete annihilation from existence [a state of lasting ruin, no influence or power, loss, or perpetual torment, rather than simple nonexistence] in the physical [created] realm. While the wicked humans who are cast into the lake of fire face annihilation and are killed, the Devil’s fate is described as continuous torment, never truly dying but being permanently destroyed. It is inescapable, eternal punishment, torment, and separation from God, with no possibility of release or a second chance.

The “Lake of Fire” is not a literal physical geographical location but a symbolic concept in the Bible, primarily mentioned in the Book of Revelation. It represents the second death, eternal destruction[a state of lasting ruin, no influence or power, loss, or perpetual torment, rather than simple nonexistence], and a place of separation and punishment for the wicked and those who reject God. Its meaning is rooted in the Jewish concept of Gehenna, a garbage-filled valley outside Jerusalem where constant fires and maggots destroyed refuse, which Jesus used as a symbol of permanent destruction.

When a new heaven and earth are established, the Lake of Fire is removed from the presence of God and the saints, possibly in a distant, separate location or a state of being removed from God’s immediate presence to serve as a place of eternal separation from God for those who rebelled against Him.

The Lake of Fire will be located in the heavenly [spiritual realms — spiritual dimension]  places, not in the [created] physical realm. Therefore, its existence is not impacted by the destruction [a state of lasting ruin, no influence or power, loss, or perpetual torment, rather than simple nonexistence] of the first heavens and earth following the 1,000-year kingdom, since it is not a part of the created universe.
