If I purchased Genesis thru Revelation all at once, it would be very expensive.  So I am purchasing them one at a time.  [not exactly every month, but most months]

So far I have 4 of them.  They are very helpful and I hope to get more by the month method.  However, since I am not of Swaggart’s church, I have four differences in my beliefs with his interpretation of scripture.

1.  Interpretation of “speaking in tongues” especially during a church service as it is disruptive and confuses me so I don’t listen to his services.

2.  Interpretation of “animal souls” going to heaven.  I believe they do if you ask God for them to do so.  My pets are my children as I could not have children so I asked God to consider my pets as my children.  As they are instinctive and cannot sin, I think it is reasonable.

3.  There are some things a psych center can do that need to be done, but a psych center certainly cannot do what God can do.  Even though God can heal anything He chooses, sometimes He chooses not to heal some things and some people need custodial care and medications.

4.  I prefer a calmer presentation of sermons than others may require.

I started my Bible study with this series.  However, now you have to obtain them by searching the internet for used copies.  It is unfortunate as I really found them helpful.

Book: Sanctification

I found reading the whole book very helpful in getting the information embedded in me.  There is a lot of repetition, but it actually helps in the learning process.

Be sure to keep God Almighty [Father] in his supreme position — when reading the book and understanding santification.

page 10:
“Everything comes from God [Almighty] through what Jesus did at the Cross then the Holy Spirit will work mightily on behalf of the believer and guarantee victory.”

Remember:

It is God Almighty’s plan and will that all who accept salvation will be saved.

Jesus paid the sin penalty and God Almighty [Father] accepted the payment.  It was God Almighty who resurrected Jesus.

Jesus requested God Almighty [Father] to send us the Holy Spirit to help us.

We cannot be victorious against sin or Satan [although salvation is secure] by our own strength, ability, willpower, faith, or efforts.  Only the Holy Spirit has the power to be victorious over sin or Satan.

The Holy Spirit inspires anyone who comes to God Almighty through Jesus to seek God in the first place.

The Bible Scripture has a lot of things you are to do as a Christian.  It is easy to get convinced that you are to be doing them through your own willpower and strength even though you are saved [through Jesus Christ and his payment of the sin penalty] — BECAUSE YOU ARE SAVED.

However, you are to allow the Holy Spirit to do them through you as you do not have the ability to do them in your own willpower and strength.

I think where I got messed up is that I thought I was to follow the scriptures on the do’s, but I failed compeletely every test of God.  Each time the scripture tells of what a person should be doing, it does not say then and there that it is through the Holy Spirit working through you that gets it done.  It is easy to get to thinking YOU ARE TO DO IT, however, because you are saved through Jesus Christ paying the sin penalty at the cross, that you get the Holy Spirit to do what you are being told to do [via scripture].

BUT ——- one has to follow God’s plan of victory as HE has it set up to work.  The Message of the Cross by Swaggart presents this plan.

Notes on Book – End Times in Chronological Order

The book “End Times in Chronological Order” by Ron Rhodes is a very good book to read for an understanding of the End Times.

However, some notes or corrections are listed below:

Page 210 in Book “ End Times in Chronological Order” by Ron Rhodes

God never gave or gives the unsaved immortality so they are never imperishable. When thrown into the Lake of Fire after judgement and punishment [stripes], they will burn up and die never to be again. However, their destroyed body will always remain in the Lake of Fire.
However, some more evil unsaved may take longer to burn up than the less evil unsaved when cast into the Lake of Fire.
However, Angels [Fallen] and demons are immortal/imperishable and will be alive in the Lake of Fire forever tormented and suffering.

WORSHIP, HONOR, GLORY, PRAYER, THANKS, ETC ——-
Jesus always did/does/will do God the Father’s Will [God Almighty]. God the Father placed Jesus as King of Kings and had Angels under Jesus as King of Kings. God the Father gave Jesus his powers and authority both in Heaven and on Earth. Satan tried to get Jesus to do Satan’s will instead, but Jesus said to Satan that God the Father’s Will only is to be done no matter what the reward. [Satan tried to bribe Jesus to do his will.]

Jesus always prayed to God the Father and instructed his disciples [and us] to do the same. The Lord’s Prayer in the Bible is an example he gave to the disciples.
Jesus understood why people tried to worship him, but he never acknowledged it or reprimanded it. Jesus always channeled it to God the Father. He also channeled glory and honor to God the Father.

Thus, we [humans], are to do God the Father’s Will by believing and following Jesus as our Savior [Jesus paid the sin penalty for us.] We are to worship, glorify, honor God the Father through Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus will always channel such worship, glory, honor, etc to God the Father. When we bow to Jesus, we are actually bowing to God the Father via Jesus.

Jesus is diety, and through him is the only way to be acceptable
to God the Father [who should be worshiped only].

Jesus is the son of man and the Son of God the Father.
Jesus is powerful, but God the Father is the SUPREME God. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are in SYNC in goal, will, concept, and behavior.

God the Father Officiates… [ conducts, referees, divine overseer, highest in rank-athority-power, final say-responsibility]

God the Son Orchestrates & Fullfills … [directs, engineers, masterminds, organizes, intermediary, fullfills
— according to God the Father’s will]
— Jesus is the high priest and king of kings to us within God the Father’s will. Jesus is in our Hearts via the Holy Spirit which he asked God The Father to send to us as a helper and comforter {after Jesus Ascended to Heaven}. Jesus is the Son of God the Father and we are a family member to him.

God the Holy Spirit Executes … [helper, convictor, comforter]

Pages 131-134 in Book “ End Times in Chronological Order” by Ron Rhodes

Billy Graham in his book “Angels” published 1994, states on page 68 that Satan and his angels fell from Heaven prior to the tempting of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

I think it does not specifically say in the Bible where Satan was thrown out of Heaven.

Satan’s early fall occurred before the creation of time, when he was cast out of God’s immediate presence and into the second heaven. This fall is symbolically described in Isaiah 14:12–14 and Ezekiel 28:12–18 Satan in Cosmos.

2450 BC Noah timeline [Angels on Earth, Giants from their children, Flood] and Angels disobeyed God and came to Earth to join with women. So Angels and Satan were rebellious at this time period.

However, I know Satan interacted with God in relation to Job 1200 BC.

Satan had dominion on Earth and tried to bribe Jesus in the desert. So ……… I think sometime between the two he was thrown out of Heaven itself [place/location] into the heavens [lower heavens and Earth]. Rev 12 seems to indicate it was just prior to Jesus’s birth.} Satan seems to interact with Earth since before Jesus in the desert and into end of tribulation. He does not seem to interact with God during that time. [Other than to be moved from cosmos and to Earth and he is limited by God in what he can do.] After the desert temptations, he does not interact with Jesus.

Interactive Communication between Satan and God exists up until mid-tribulation and then God terminates Satan’s communication with God. During this time Satan and his angels do not live in or have access to Heaven [place], but Satan does have the ability to be in the presence of God where he accuses God’s people of whatever he can. Satan is limited by God as to what Satan can do.

Satan ends up being moved by Angels to the bottomless pit at beginning of 1000 yr reign of Jesus Christ. Satan later is released to lead a rebellion on Earth. Then, Satan is throw into the Lake of Fire by Angels. [He remains there forever alive and never interacts again with humans, God or God’s Angels, or with Jesus.]

The above is the only way I can make sense of references of Satan being thrown to Earth during the Tribulation. I am still researching it. Trying to make sense of parts of the Tribulation in God’s timeline.

Does God torture unsaved forever in Lake of Fire?

Above is the link to a great booklet that covers Heaven and Hell.  Especially, read pages 15-28 about Hell.

In my opinion, I think it is a great writeup of the information in easy-to-understand format and wording.

It, also, clears up “why the new Jersuleum” comes down to the “new Heaven”.  When God melts Earth with great heat, the saved in their immortal bodies will need to be somewhere until Earth is renewed to a pristine state.

By the way pages 12-14 are poorly written about death.  Saved Human Spirits return to God in Heaven.  Saved Earthly body returns to the soil.  At the Rapture, when Jesus calls,  saved Spirit Bodies join with the saved Spirit that is in Heaven and the saved receive their “Glorified Immortal Bodies with their Spirit. All who are saved then return to Heaven and at the time of Jesus’ return to Earth at the beginning of the Millennium return with Him to Earth during that time.  This process is Biblical.  You can research it.  Start in Ecc 12:7.

When reading any written articles [especially Beyond Today], look up all scriptures given and also do your own research of ALL scriptures on the topic.  This advice includes this Blog.

Books of Enock [Book I-5]

Book 1-5 Enock is in the Ethiopian Bible.  I read it and it proved out to be worth reading for various reasons.  It does not conflict with the KJV of the Bible, but does include supplemental information.  Some sections are confusing, but are worth wading through.

Things that are helpful in this book:

  1.  Demons were created not by God, but by the genetic combination of Fallen Angels and human women.  The Watchers lusted after women on Earth and mated with them creating Giants who were their children.  The Giants created vast problems and evil deeds and were destroyed during Noah involved Flood.  As genetic combination of Angels and humans they were immortal beings but as having human genetics within them bound to Earth.  They will be punished along with the Fallen Angels at the “Final Judgement” and eternally confined with the Fallen Angels at that time to be no more problem on Earth.
  2. Fallen Angels are going to be judged and eternally punished [They are immortal] in a fire based location [in chains] with no reprieve.
  3. Sin was and is not sent upon Earth by God.  Man [humans] themselves created/and do sin.  The Fallen Angels taught Man [humans] the ways of war, sin, etc.
  4. If you go to the White Throne Judgement, it is then too late to be saved.  There is no other chance to be saved other than NOW [when you are alive on Earth] — even if you repent at that time period. [This is a very clearly put concept.]
  5. The elect [saved] will always be in the presence of Jesus [God] in all of Eternity.
  6. Angels [of God] have many tasks.  Angels are assigned functioning of Sun, stars, moon, etc.  It makes sense that God needs so many Angels with so vast an area of functionality.
  7. As Noah and his family were the only ones saved during the Flood, we current humans are descendants of that human family genetically.
  8. The book of Enock also covers the Flood, Exodus and many periods of Jewish History.

 

It should be noted, by me, that I do not intend to accept all books not in the KJV Bible, but Enock is worth accepting.
