OVERCOMER?

"What a man/woman believes in his/her heart, so he/she is. Prov 23:7 -- If you believe in your heart that you are an overcomer in Christ, then you will act like an overcomer, and you will BECOME AN OVERCOMER!" quoted from Joel Osteen.

OBEY THE LAW:

A Christian does not obey the Law on his own, but through the power of Christ living in him. Paul goes on to emphasize that law keeping comes through grace of God and that law keeping does NOT earn grace. With God's grace, the converted Christian will keep the law -- but without that grace no amount of effort will bring righteousness and salvation.

A saved person [in Christ] will want and be able to keep the law and do good works. A Christian is not saved by doing the law and good works, but a Christian does the law and good works BECAUSE they are saved and through God's power.

ARMOR OF GOD;

Belt of truth: Symbolizes honesty, integrity, and the truth of God's Word

Breastplate of righteousness: Protects the heart and other vital organs

Shoes of the gospel of peace: Prepares you to move forward successfully

Shield of faith: Protects you from the devil's attacks

Helmet of salvation: Protects your mind from the devil's doubt

Sword of the spirit: The word of God, which is the only offensive weapon against the devil and his temptations
