What Does the Bible Say About….? by Ron Rhodes is very interesting and helpful.

Page 105 thru 113 clarification:

God Almighty has the Godhead as 3 entities that do distinct functions:

Officiates = GOD THE FATHER/GOD ALMIGHTY
presides, commands, directs, governs, controls, compels, guides, reigns, has authority, supervises, leads, authorizes, appoints, imposes, grants, instructs, requires, manages, oversees, approves/disapproves, enforces the spiritual law, and has ultimate control/power. All worship, prayer, glory, praise, and thanks goes to God the Father and “HE” gives glory and praise to whom he chooses.

Orchestrates = GOD THE SON/JESUS
arranges, manipulates [especially by means of clever or thorough planning or maneuvering], devises, establishes [creation accomplished], reconciles, unifies, coordinates, embodies, correlates, clarifies, intercedes, explicates, channels, and formulates. Always does/communicates God the Father’s Will.  Jesus paid our sin penalty which God the Father accepted as payment of the sin penalty. [Any worship praise, glory, and thanks given to Jesus is channeled to God the Father through Jesus.  Jesus will not correct, reprimand, or reject such but channels it to God the Father. Jesus understands why people do such.]

Executes = GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
carries out; performs or does; provides polish to; perfects; achieves [to conclude successfully; complete], carries into effect, gets something done; influences, comforts; reveals/revelations; communicates between humans and God & Jesus. Always does/communicates God the Father’s Will.  Leads humans to repent of sin and to God the Father through Jesus’ payment of the sin penalty,

Jesus requested [of God the Father] that the Holy Spirit entity be sent to saved humans as a Helper/Comforter, and he will abide with them forever. [John 14: 16-17]

An entity is something that has real and distinct existence that is a being.

The word Trinity does not appear in the Scriptures but is often referred to therein. The Godhead is a Trinity as it is made up of 3 entities that always existed.  This is how God Almighty has it in existence no matter what one labels it.

There is no contradiction in affirming equality of being and functional subordination among the persons in the Godhead.  Christ in his divine nature is fully equal to the Father, though relationally [or functionally] He is subordinate or submissive to the Father. [This paragraph is from the book page 111, paragraph 3]

God the Father/Almighty, Jesus/God the Son, God the Holy Spirit  — All have the same essence, focus, character, goals, methods, etc. [and are in complete agreement on everything and in a working functionality].

The only way TO GOD is through Jesus with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  You believe in Jesus Christ BECAUSE you believe in God Almighty and want to be acceptable to God [forgiven of sin].

Page 129 clarification:

In the verses given as a reference, for Jesus Christ demanded worship, [Exodus, Joshua] do not actually refer to Jesus Christ, but refer to God Almighty.  LORD is used, not Lord. LORD refers to God Almighty, and Lord refers to Jesus Christ. The word lord refers to human lords on Earth.  Capitalization is important in the Bible.

Nowhere in the Bible Scriptures is it indicated that Jesus should be worshiped or that he demanded, requested, or accepted such.  Jesus, however, did allow people to worship him as he understood why they did it, but he did not even acknowledge that they did so.

Jesus Christ sends all worship, praise, and glory to God Almighty.  We worship God Almighty through Jesus Christ [as saved by His paying the sin penalty] with the help of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ should be respected, followed, and thanked for paying the Law’s sin penalty.  Jesus would want you to worship God Almighty, not Him.

Jesus Christ is King of Kings.  At the end of the 1000-year reign, Jesus turns over the Kingdom of God to God Almighty, who then places Jesus Christ over the Kingdom of God.

God Almighty gives praise, honor, etc to Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, Angels, saved humans as He chooses and when He chooses.

Page 148 and 150 clarification:

Jesus asked God the Father to send the Holy Spirit.  God the Father sent the Holy Spirit upon Jesus Christ’s request.

Page 171 clarification:

“Sin unto Death” [The sin that leads to physical AND spiritual death is….]

  • Rejecting God.
  • Submersion in the World and its ways [and Not God’s Ways].
  • Intentional and persistent sin without repentance.
  • Physical Death in the above state with no repentance.

[You die without accepting Jesus’ paying your sin penalty because you rejected God and His method of salvation. This is also known as the “unforgivable sin”.]

Page 195-197 clarification:

The METHOD of salvation was predestined, and not who would be saved.  The only method to receive salvation is through belief/faith in Jesus Christ [paid the sin penalty].

  • God uses the Holy Spirit to draw sinners to Him.  However, many reject the calling by rejecting God.  God wants everyone saved, but not all accept salvation and reject God instead.
  • Those who do not reject the Holy Spirit leading them to God will find salvation through Jesus Christ [paid the sin penalty].  It was predestined that one could only be saved through faith in Jesus Christ and the sinner accepting His payment of the sin penalty for them.

 

Page 202-206 clarification:

  • Jesus died for all humanity, but only some sinners accepted his sacrifice for them.
  • Some sinners don’t want salvation or to live in “God’s Will”. Thus, they reject Jesus Christ, God Almighty, and salvation.  
  • Jesus died for the unsaved sinners, but they chose to reject it; thus, His death was beneficial to only His sheep, followers, etc.

 

Page 241-244 clarification:

Satan cannot indwell humans.  Satan can only be in one place at a time and, thus, even if he could indwell a human [which he cannot], it would be a waste of his time.  He has better things to do with his time.  He can externally influence and externally tempt only.

Demons are the children of mixed human and fallen angel creation. They are also evil spirits.

A lot of people call Fallen Angels demons, but they are not demons.  Fallen Angels cannot possess [indwell] humans.  Fallen Angels do evil and are spirit beings; thus, Fallen Angels are evil spirits not demons.

 

Page 249 and 250 clarification:

Evil Spirits:

  • Demons are evil spirits [They are the children of mixed human and fallen angel creation.]
  • Fallen Angels are evil spirits [They are spirit beings as all angels are, but are fallen and evil.]
  • Thoughts, behavior, and actions can be evil spirits [They are:  pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, sloth, vainglory.]
  • Dragon [Satan], Beast [Anti-Christ {empowered and influenced by Satan}], and False Prophet [empowered and influenced by Anti-Christ.] are all evil spirits.
  • Familiar Spirits are demonic spirits.

 

Familiar Spirits:

  • In the Bible, familiar spirits are understood to be demonic entities that attach themselves to people, often acting as deceptive guides or informants. They are portrayed as a form of divination or spiritual manipulation, and the Bible strongly condemns seeking their guidance or associating with them. 
  • Familiar spirits and spirit guides are under the control of their master, Satan. They influence people to spread lies and deceit in order to thwart the kingdom .
  • The Bible warns against seeking counsel from such spirits and forbids any form of interaction with them. In Leviticus 19:31 (KJV), God warns His people: “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.”
  • Familiar spirits are also called monitoring spirits, this is because they monitor your progress, they are always there in your life to sabotage and to ruin every good thing that comes your way. These spirits are behind the near success syndrome problem.

 

Page 253-262 clarification:

Timeline of Rapture — who receive glorified body and immortality:

  1. Those dead in Christ at the Rapture
  2. Those alive on Earth who are in Christ at the Rapture
  3. Those who died in Christ during the Tribulation
  4. Those who died in Christ during the 1000-year reign and those alive in Christ at the end of the 1000-year reign

 

Page 263 clarification:

Upon death, the soul of a believer enters a disembodied state [like an astral projection {example:  Dr Strange Movie}]. This means the body is conscious, has  awareness, talks/communicates, thinks, and is in the presence of God, but believer does not yet have a physical body.  The righteous spirits are in paradise, and the wicked spirits are in a prison realm. [This gives a good reason God’s Angels {under their protection from Fallen Angels} escort you to Heaven when you die.]

Some, like Randy Alcorn, propose that there might be temporary, intermediate bodies in the afterlife.  [Read his book “Heaven”.]

 

Page 273-285 clarification and correction:

Information on Hell, Judgement, and Lake of Fire — LINKS:

 

Rev 20: 11-15 does NOT say unbelievers are given an eternal body so they can suffer in the Lake of Fire, unbelievers will be thrown into the Lake of Fire alive, and unbelievers will suffer forever.  The only unbelievers thrown into the Lake of Fire alive are the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet.  Other unbelievers may be thrown in alive, but the Scriptures do not say so.  Unbelievers do not get immortal bodies, so they can suffer.  However, Fallen Angels, Demons, and Evil Spirits [demons] are immortal [eternal] and will suffer in the Lake of Fire forever. Unbelievers will be separated from God forever as they will be dead in body and spirit and dissolved into the Lake of Fire forever.

Page 315 clarification and correction: {ONLY — My Opinion on the matter.}

Since 1947, America has had flying saucers, but maybe not working as well as they would like.  We obtained them from Germany’s research.  Blaming “space aliens” would be a good way to go anywhere or do anything [even illegal].  Research could be conducted without permission, spying could be done, etc.

Other countries, since then, could also have such aircraft, working well or poorly.  They could spy anywhere and get away with blaming it on “space aliens”.

In the long past, such aircraft, activities, abductions, etc. could be done either by “space aliens” or some previous advanced civilization on Earth that has gone underground for some reason.  This past civilization could have been around for an extended timeline.  Scripture briefly indicates that a past civilization was on Earth and was terminated by God for rebellion. [It is in Genesis somewhere.  It is so brief, it is hard to find.]

Since God Almighty [and Godhead] is powerful and has capabilities we do not yet understand, God could have created beings on other planets.  He has had thousands and millions of years to do so, if he chose to do so.  I am NOT going to tell God that he can/could not do such.  He created us for a reason.  He could have created other beings in other locations for other reasons.  Who knows.  In any case, God is in charge and control of the Universe and beyond.  Jesus Christ has been placed in charge of Earth and the heavens.

By the way, God [Godhead], Angels, Demons, Satan, Fallen Angels, etc are “space aliens” [not of this Earth].  God created Earth.  Good and/or Fallen Angels come/go to/from Earth frequently.  We have the Holy Spirit indwelling Christians [Sent from God, the Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead and thus a “space alien”.]  God has the capability of creating environmental events [even light globes]. 

Also, the Godhead is masculine and thus prone to creating things like space ships [New Jerusalem] for a purpose or just for fun and I am NOT going to tell the Godhead it cannot do such.  By the way New Jerusalem is a good thing coming eventually from God’s current [intermediate] Heaven.  I sometime wonder if there might also be some smaller such ships for other areas of Earth when the New Jerusalem comes down from Heaven.

By the way, Adam and Eve were the first Jewish people and created on the 8th day of creation [after the 7 days of creation].  On the 6th day of creation men and women were created and ran amuck so God created Adam and Eve to lead them into God’s Will of living.  Adam and Eve fell so it did not happen.]

By the way, Hell is within the Earth currently [probably in another dimension].  Don’t dig around in Earth to find it because even if you found it, you would not recognize it anyway as it is probably not visible to humans.  It is supervised by God’s Angels.
