Book: How the Holy Spirit Works by Swaggart

How the Holy Spirit Works by Jimmy Swaggart Ministries

The Cross of Christ as used in the book and in the concept — IS DEFINED:
as what Jesus did at the Cross and ALL the consequences for believers [salvation, sanctification, strength, help, and guidance], including our relationship with God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus sacrificed his life and suffered heavily so believer’s sins to be forgiven, believers to be saved, and believers sanctified.  God Almighty gave Jesus this task, accepted the sacrifice as payment of believer’s sins, and resurrected Jesus as a sign of his acceptance of such.  Without the sacrifice of payment of the sin penalty, all humans would NOT be saved ever.  They would have no hope at all.

Jesus asked God Almighty to send to believers the Holy Spirit to help them.  God Almighty did so.

Jesus now sits at the right hand of God Almighty and intercedes for believers.  Jesus is coming to gather believers for receiving immortality and glorified body as well as other benefits.  Then they accompany Him to Paradise in Heaven.  Believers will later accompany Jesus and Good Angels at the 2nd Coming.  Believers will rule with Jesus during 1000 year reign and after the 1000 year reign will be with Jesus on the New Earth.

At the end o the 1000 year rule and when the White Throne Events are finished, Jesus will turn everything over to God Almighty.  God Almighty will then place Jesus over New Earth and Heavens as King of Kings, Head of the Family, Head of the Kingdom, and Head of the Church.

When Swaggart refers to the “Cross” and faith therein, He includes what was accomplished on the Cross as well as God Almighty’s acceptance of the sin penalty payment and that we receive the Holy Spirit.  Do NOT get confused.  It ALL includes the Holy Spirit and God Almighty.

God’s Plan of Salvation is predestined.

Who is saved?
John 7:37 — “If any man thirsts, let him come unto me and drink” [Jesus Christ].  He said any man [or woman].  {on page 278}
Rev 22:17 — “And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”   {on page 278}

This book is very interesting and includes a lot of related concepts.  It has repetition, but he presents various concepts while doing so.   The nuggets of revelations are worth wading through all the repetitions.
