{"id":697,"date":"2023-06-23T04:28:31","date_gmt":"2023-06-23T09:28:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ameighs-christian-blog.info\/b2blog\/?p=697"},"modified":"2024-12-01T17:35:30","modified_gmt":"2024-12-01T22:35:30","slug":"my-opinion-love-vs-trust-of-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ameighs-christian-blog.info\/b2blog\/index.php\/2023\/06\/23\/my-opinion-love-vs-trust-of-god\/","title":{"rendered":"Love vs Trust of God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Love of God is important and necessary, but Trust of God is more significant.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Trust is why one follows anyone<\/u><\/strong>.\u00a0 If you love a human, you would not automatically follow that human.\u00a0 However, if you fully trust the human, you would most likely follow them.<\/p>\n<p>Love might be why you would want to be with anyone, but you can love someone and not be or want to be with them.\u00a0 You can love someone and not trust them.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus often talks of &#8220;if you love me, you will&#8230;&#8230;.&#8221;.\u00a0 However, I am sure that he is also including love AND trust in His meaning. <strong><u>One would want to please someone only because they love AND trust that someone.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>=============================<\/p>\n<p>Terms:<\/p>\n<p>Love = to have a warm personal attachment to or deep affection for<\/p>\n<p>Trust = reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence; confident expectation of something; hope.<\/p>\n<p>Agape = Agape is almost always used to describe the love that is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself: \u201cGod is love\u201d (1 John 4:8). God does not merely love; He is love. Everything God does flows from His love. Agape is also used to describe our love for God (Luke 10:27), a servant\u2019s faithful respect to his master (Matthew 6:24), and a man\u2019s attachment to things (John 3:19) Agape love is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love. You can follow God &amp; Jesus with agape love as they ARE truth and trustworthy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Love of God is important and necessary, but Trust of God is more significant.
