{"id":170,"date":"2016-03-26T21:09:37","date_gmt":"2016-03-27T02:09:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ameighs-christian-blog.info\/b2blog\/?p=170"},"modified":"2024-12-01T17:53:02","modified_gmt":"2024-12-01T22:53:02","slug":"true-repentance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ameighs-christian-blog.info\/b2blog\/index.php\/2016\/03\/26\/true-repentance\/","title":{"rendered":"True Repentance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TRUE REPENTANCE BY:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acknowledging the sinfulness of my heart and appealing to God for a new heart.<\/li>\n<li>Repenting without regret.<\/li>\n<li>Taking responsibility for my sin and taking God\u2019s Chastisement and the bad results associated with my sin.<\/li>\n<li>Changing my purposeful behavior thereafter &#8211; WITH GOD&#8217;S HELP.<br \/>\nnot being conformed to this world, but being transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is [that which is good and acceptable and perfect].<\/li>\n<li>Revealing true repentance by bearing good fruit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>NEW HEART INCLUDES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A new attitude toward sin<\/li>\n<li>The desire to not sin and to do God&#8217;s Will [NOT in opposition to spiritual]<\/li>\n<li>A desire to do Good Works and the bearing Good Fruit [fruit of the Holy Spirit]<\/li>\n<li>A commitment toward divine nature and behavior thereof [with help of Holy Spirit] &#8230;&#8230; An interest in the new covenant, have a new heart and a new spirit, in order to walk in a newness of life. God would give a heart of flesh, a soft and tender heart, complying with his holy will.<\/li>\n<li>A new heart by the Spirit, not by the letter &#8230;&#8230;..the removal of a stubborn heart and giving you a tender, responsive heart.
