{"id":1646,"date":"2026-07-22T14:14:14","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T19:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ameighs-christian-blog.info\/b2blog\/?p=1646"},"modified":"2026-07-22T14:20:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T19:20:10","slug":"meaning-of-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ameighs-christian-blog.info\/b2blog\/index.php\/2026\/07\/22\/meaning-of-love\/","title":{"rendered":"Meaning of LOVE&#8230;.."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Four Types of Love:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Agape:<\/em> The highest, most selfless form of unconditional love; it is the sacrificial love God has for people and the love believers are called to show others.<\/li>\n<li><em>Phileo:<\/em> Warm, affectionate friendship or brotherly love.<\/li>\n<li><em>Eros:<\/em> Romantic or passionate love.<\/li>\n<li><em>Storge:<\/em> Natural, familial love and loyalty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Jesus personified the word &#8212; LOVE.<\/span><\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>Want to truly understand love? Look at Jesus.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He was patient and kind.<\/li>\n<li>He didn\u2019t envy anything or anyone.<\/li>\n<li>He emptied himself, humbling himself to the point of death on a cross for our salvation.<\/li>\n<li>He didn\u2019t follow his own desires, but instead followed the will of the Father, pouring himself out for all humankind.<\/li>\n<li>From the cross, Jesus bled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenivbible.com\/blog\/what-the-bible-says-about-forgivenesson-forgiveness\/\">forgiveness<\/a>, even for the people crucifying him.<\/li>\n<li>He not only told the truth; he was\/is the truth and always will be.<\/li>\n<li>As we look at how he shepherded his disciples, we see his love, protection, trust, hope, and perseverance.<\/li>\n<li>He asked God to send us the Holy Spirit to guide and help us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With God, you can have\/give <em>Agape love, but with humans, you cannot do so.\u00a0 God is trustworthy, humans are not in general.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Four Types of Love: Agape: The highest, most selfless form of unconditional love; it is the sacrificial love God has for people and the love believers are called to show others.
